West Virginia State 3 Gun "Hog Shoot"

The West Virginia State IR 50/50 Championship will be held this Saturday and Sunday. We will practice on Friday afternoon. The range will be open for practice around noon. There will be a free light dinner Friday afternoon around 5:00 pm. We'll shoot the yards on Saturday and have the pig roast after the match. Then the meters on Sunday with "left overs". Breakfast will be available for purchase both days.
Directions from the South- take I81 north into WV to Exit 5 (Inwood). Turn onto Rt. 51 E. Follow 51E (you will be making a right and then a left) toward Charles Town 4.7 miles. Turn left on Rt. 1 (Leetown Road). Go 2.6 miles and turn left into the club entrance.
[Directions from the North/U]- Take I81 South into WV to Exit 12 Martinsburg. Turn onto Rt. 9E go 7.2 miles to traffic light in Kearneysville (at the Sheetz). Turn right onto Rt. 1 (Leetown Rd.). Go 4.7 miles traveling through Leetown and turn right into club entrance.

Todd, Kathy & Bear, we're so happy you are enjoying our "neck of the woods." We can't wait to hear more. By the way, you must have brought us delightful weather! There was not a rain cloud on any day of the local newspaper prediction for this week. Let's hope it's the same for this coming weekend for the "Hog Shoot."

Not so great timing. Last week I starting looking into 3-Gun and have been doing some research. I find this thread on Sunday, just my luck :rolleyes:. I would of love to come by and watch. Can you give me anymore info on these local matches, websites? Appears I'm right around the corner. Thanks.

You WV gentlemen go easy on the Northerner's - Renegade, Gordon and Mel. They're used to winning the matches up here!

Also, give Todd, Kathy and Bear and hardy "congratulations" on their marriage! Kathy's a very special woman in that she agreed to spend her honeymoon taking Todd to all the benchrest matches they can cover during this 'special' time together.

Congratulations Todd and Kathy!!

Mel, don't forget to drop some lunch for Bear to munch on.

mistermike, we tried to be nice, Ken Hendersen is bringing a lot of meter wood back and they all are carrying a little extra weight from all the food.

locknload we shoot again the first weekend of Aug.
