Well...what do you know?

Elmer and a great helper from "Singlehop" has once again fixed the forum. The great helper from Singlehop goes without saying as he's the "guy" but Elmer's tenaciousness with the forum and the classifieds prevented us from a total loss.

I, on the other hand, turned it off and went to the emergency room. Called Elmer...and went to the emergency room. Didn't see anybody there but went anyway. Will likely have to pay but that's a necessary task for those not knowing what the emergency room is for. Have a call right now into my regular doctor for help. If it doesn't work, well, it's been good to know ya'll every one!

Getting back to the real problem (don't know exactly what is the real problem)...thanks to Elmer and the Server Guy. They saved the day!

Whew...

I was starting to think those "Account Withdrawn" messages meant that my account was no longer valid. Sorry...

I hope you meant that you went to the IT ER. If not take care of you first. We'll get by.

It looks like BRC was not alone in the crisis either, as RA and WWA were also affected. It seems that they (unlike you) did not have the services of Elmer or a SingleHop helper and are still not fully functional as yet...They look to be getting there though.

LOL. I thought the same thing....until I realized that I wasn't even logged in.

Wilbur,
Sorry to hear that you are feeling so bad. The site is important, but of course your health is much more so. I hope that your doctor is able to make you better quickly.

Hope your problem is gone soon, Wilbur.
I've been getting weird No Server, etc messages on Doublegun forum, lately. Did Bloomberg hire IT hitmen?

I'll have to get better soon....real soon

We went Christmas shopping today and while we stopped at a Taco Bell on the way....Judy fell and broke her shoulder. Things are not a hundred percent around here but better than a ton of situations I can imagine.

I can't even imagine how to make a genuine post much less fix the forum when it's broke. It seems that the fellow(s) that's causing the trouble is unaware of that fact as I would expect. We better find the fix before it's too late. The real fix.....

OMG, broken bones at our age truly SUCK!

We have a Typhoid Harry running around in BR world?

Try to have a Merry Christmas Wilbur.

David

Wilber, Best Wishes to you and your's. Things will get better I'm sure, after all we have a New Years coming on.

Till then, Merry Christmas.

I feel her pain. I broke my collarbone back in May - it put a big pause in my shooting but saved me quite a bit of ammo. It'll take patience while healing. I hope she feels better.

Merry Christmas everyone

Some of my best friends that I have not met yet are on this site. It sure would be a treat to have a get-to-gather and meet each other for real.

Wilbur, tell Judy we feel her pain and don't do that any more.

Merry Christmas to all.

Best wishes for a quick recovery for Judy, and hope that it's not too painful or incapacitating but fear it is and will be. My wife had her second hip replacement this spring and it's begun giving her grief, maybe just the cold weather and not getting to her exercise classes. Best wishes and a Merry Christmas to both of you.
