Weight restriction

I was wondering is there any weight grace area or tolerance allowed? Lets say a gun weighed in at 70 gr (almost the weight of a bullet) over 10.5 weight on one scale, but passed on other scales, would that person be disqualified for being over weight, or would they say it is close enough and let it slide? I realize rules are rules, but would 70gr or some amount like that just be petty?

Weighing Guns

A 1/2 ounce is allowed in weighng guns. On a digital scale a 10.5 lb gun can weigh 10.54 lb. On a balance scale a 1/2 ounce is added to the scale beore it is balanced.

Too close

Don't make it that close. If it's that close, use single screw rings instead of double. Use a different trigger guard. Change that butt plate.

Like I tell my kids, stay as far away from controversy if you can not handle being on the wrong side of it every now and then.

Stephen Perry, YOU ROCK!!!!
That is the best new I have heard! My gun complete ready to shoot weighs in at 10.47 LBS, on a digital meat scale certified by the county auditor. That is with single screw rings, Kelby's super light trigger guard, and a paper thin but plate.
