weighing ammunition

What tolerance should be considered acceptable when weighing Eley (or any other) ammunition. Taking into account that in the average box of Tenex you will probably find weights for each round between 51.0 grains and 51.4 grains. When selecting ‘match’ ammunition from a batch, what tolerance is acceptable? 0.1 grains either way, 0.2 grains either way, etc - from the weight of batch tested as accurate in your rifle???? Or should there be no tolerance at all, and all ammunition should weigh the exactly same – 51.4 grains for example!!!

when i wiegh mine i have no tolerances. i'll wiegh them and put the ones that wiegh the same in lots of same wiegh. sometimes i'll go through 2 or 3 bricks. have you measured the rim thickness as well? this will affect the head spacing in small amounts. i try everything to get rid of the lil guy(fliers).
