Weaver's Great Customer Service..

I just purchased a Weaver T-36 scope from a friend of mine that was missing the Lens caps and the adjustment turret covers. I sent an e-mail to Weaver to see if they sell the turret covers and lens caps seperately.. I just received an e-mail from "Sandy" in Customer Service saying that Weaver would send the turret covers and lens cover to me at "No Charge". I called Sandy and explained to her that I was not the original owner and she said that it made no difference, as Weaver stands behind its product..

In today's world, it is refreshing to find a company like Weaver that will provide that kind of customer service.:) :)

Same kind of service I've gotten through the years from RCBS--

And I too have gotten great customer service from Weaver. Great people.

WIsh I can say that for Bushnell

I have purchased 2 new Bushnell Elite's 4200's 6x24's good scope, but somehow I lost a turret cap, I called Bushnell, lady said that will be something like $8.00 plus shipping, never did call them back, so I wish I can something good about Bushnell CS, I hope IF I ever need scope work it's a different story.

You can say it for Leupold

I lost one of the caps from a 45X LCS and called Leupold to see how much one would be. They sent the entire set free of charge. No shipping or anything.

A couple of years back, the hinge gave up on my MTM ammo box. It was from the first batch that came into Australia - one of those bright green ones from back in the late sixties or early seventies. Anyway, in a moment of whimsy, I emailed MTM & told them that I had read in the original release on the boxes (I think it was written up in G&A or one of the mags after one gun show) that they would operate for a million cycles, or was it 100,000 & that even over all those years, if I had opened it 10 times each week it would't make that number.

They emailed right back asking for my address so they could send me a new one, but I told them thanks but that I was taught not to shoot fish in a barrel.

You lost a turret cap and didn't want to pay for a replacement?

So because you were looking for something free and they didnt' give it to you they have poor or undesirable customer service?

I've received Bushnell products with missing parts. I have always received a no cost replacement from them along with an apology. I would never call a company looking for a free replacement part that I lost or damaged.
