Hi everyone have a question for the pros. How do i adjust my trigger pull on my mark 5,an what do i need other than a scale wanted adjustable trigger but i havent been able to find one.

One other question to is where can i find a titanium firing pin an spring,an can i do the work myself because if you havent noticed im a newbie at this game an there isnt any local gunsmiths around where i live so any help would be great. Thanks

please seek a pro to adjust your trigger or to show you how. all the typing in the world can't make sure your trigger is adjusted safely.

Tate,

You will have to change springs to improve the Mk 5 trigger pull weight. Trigger also can benefit from having a spring guide made and installed to captivate the lighter weight return spring so it can't slide out during operation.

As mentioned by Dusty, this trigger requires fair skill to tinker with, and you need to make sure that things function perfectly before using this modified trigger. It has some unique features.

Jard makes an aftermarket trigger for the Mk 5 (see Brownell's). It works well, but isn't much better than the standard trigger properly adjusted (with lighter return spring) for normal hunting pull weights. It might be safer for you to use the Jard if you have any doubts about your abilities or want very low pull levels.
