Shooting a 270WSM Getting great accuracy with 68.2grs of Re#19 in mild winter in San Fransisco Bay area.(50 degrees+) End of this month I'll be hunting coyotes in Ontario Oregon in maybe 25 degree weather. How will my Re#19 perform? Should I try and develope load with H4350 because of their weather "Extreme" claims ?

I cannot

speak for H4350 but if it reacts in temperature changes like I found with H4895 it would be the way to go.

I had a load developed with H4895 for a 243 Winchester in late August. Shot it at around 20 deg celcius and fired it at about -25 deg celcius and I did not see any change in velocity. I would say it is quite stable in temp swings. The velocity still was around the 3100 fps mark.

It may be worth a try.

Why not stick some in the freezer for a bit and try 'em.
I probably wouldn't worry about it. I always work up loads in warm weather, knowing it'll be safe at any temp. You can always check impact in the cooler weather when you get there, if it'll make you feel better.

I use RE19 in an 06 I see about 80fps from July to Nov the temps are high 80's to teens this is in a short barrel In a longer barrel in 270 win I saw over 60 fps difference with that powder The H4831 shoots better and has been very consistent with a 11 fps extreme spread overall same day shooting it is about 4fps on a chrony Not exactly an answer for the wsm but some experience with RE19 in a 18" and a 24" barrel
