Steve, thanks for posting.

Wayne wasn't under the Friday Night pressure we were.

Kind of sad posting about this Unaka shoot. The first benchrest match I ever shot was at Unaka and we had 62 shooters, this shoot had only 17?

Everyone involved in the Unaka staff did a great job, just too much going on I guess. A few went to the Piedmont 600 Saturday, some are going or are at St. Louis for the East/West this coming weekend.

Thanks for posting PDF of results Steve. Great shooting Wayne

Great job by the guys and gals at Unaka

I continue to be impressed by the Benchrest shooters I've met in the last couple years.
I had a trigger malfunction Sunday morning and everybody that saw me struggling trying to get it going jumped In to help. From helping me get it out to clean it. To offering their backup rifle or another who offered his spare trigger. All while they needed to be loading and cleaning for the next relay. Then coming back over later checking in to make sure things were still working
You guys are something else

Always Helpful

Tim, @ my first Super Shoot in 1986,, my good friend had a primer malfunction,, He opened the bolt,, bullet pulled out,,, action full of powder.
A shooter nearby,, grabbed my friends rifle,, put his rifle down on Steve"s bags ,, laid seven cartridges down,,and said ,,, shoot a sighter to see where it's printing .. Hold off what you need or dial in scope to bullet hole.. To make the story shorter,, he shot a .156"... I've seen this happen time and time again,, w/one problem or another.. You'll always get help,, even w/o asking..

Tim, Jef Fowler taught me years ago to always keep a spare rifle handy, patched out, and loads to go.

Remember that when I am around I will have one if you need it.

At the 2014 Shamrock I was on bench 20 and Bart Sauter was on 19. I had a malfunction after shot 4 and the recording had just said 20 seconds. Bart handed me his rifle and I made shot 5 in time!! Thats the way these guys are.
