I spent some time baby sitting that range when I went to the college 82-84. Earned some credits off my tuition. The range is on a high finger of land east of town. I remember one day at the range when I heard some jet engines and I turned around and saw two F-111's flying below me down a valley. Neat! Kind of like this:
