Incase some of ya'll are interested.

Today Vortex called me to inform me that they e-mailed me a return sticker to return my 6-24x50mm PST FFP MOA scope and they will send me my new one with the improvements. :)

Actually it was their brand new line of scopes. I think there were less than 100 sold when they pulled them and sent them back to fix them.

Yes there was an issue. A couple tactical shooters on Snipershide.com thought that the turrets turned to easily. When Vortex heard what they were criticizing they pulled all the new scopes that did not go out and had them all fixed and that was a lot of scopes not just the model I got. They fixed all the scopes in the PST line from 1-4x all the way up to the 6-24x that I have. They also offered to exchange any scope that was sold with the new fixed ones free of charge. They also have a no bs for ever warranty which is transferable without a receipt.

I never had a scope with open turrets before and never would noticed the problem. I think you get a lot for what you pay for with these scopes.

Good to hear that. I bought one of their Razor HD spotting scopes and have been impressed with it. I also bought a pair of Vortex's Razor HD binoculars because I liked the glass in the spotting scope so well. Have been thinking about buying one of their top end scopes, so it is good to hear they take care of their customers.

Hi Dan,

I finally got to see their Razor HD rifle scope. It is their top of the line. A few guys on Snipers Hide say they like it better than NF. Vortex is going after the big guys. Hope they do well.

Vortex isn't the only company that has had glitches with their new products. Case in point Toyota.

This is hear say, but I did read this some place.
I have not seen one, but what I have read that the Sightron III (tactical?) scopes have the same problem that the PST had with their turrets, but Sightron will have that problem fixed with the next generation and a better reticle which will come out this spring. Vortex stopped selling them until they got them fixed.
