I have had this back from Mr. Voelker now for a few weeks:

Unfortunately, a January total knee replacement has limited my range time and frankly, I think it has taken the edge off of my shooting ability. I hope to have an improvement in both by the spring. I have shot a couple of quarter inchers so far that have encouraged me. Looking for that magic ammo. I have only tried ammo that I had on hand so far:

SK Rifle Match (both the quarter inchers - but uncomfortable with flyer rate)
SK Std Plus
SK Pistol Match
Wolf MT
Eley Biathlon EPS
Lapua Master M (horrible - wish I had some L on hand to compare - no longer made now, right?)
Federal Gold Metal 711B

I am going to order some more next week. Any suggestions from the floor?

Try some Fiocchi 320 Super Match.. I have two cases and that stuff shoots great..

The UPS driver handed me a brown cardboard box yesterday with four boxes each of Fiocchi 320 Super Match and Eley Tenex tucked inside. Now, if it would just stop raining.

my neighbor had his knee replaced in nov. 07 his would swell like a softball,
the first six months really bothered him, but i asked him a couple months
ago if it bothered him walking on icy steps and stuff. he said i can't even
tell it's there anymore, said he was really glad he did it, just stick to the therapy. good luck. tom.

Thanks Tom. That's what I here from alot of folks. Yep, just some more time and hard work at therapy and I will be in good shape.

Try some RWS 50 or Match. Both of these workrd well in my 540's Highest end is 100 never tried that.
