Very best 40X cleaning rod guide?

I have a CMP heavy barreled 40X that has metal that appears to be in excellent shape. Whose guide should I buy, and is there a phone number or readily available location where I can find it for myself?

Here is another vote for a Lucas Bore Guide.. It is undoubtably the best you can buy..

frey's link to Jeff at metalwerks is one to take a look at. I acquired my IVY rod from Killoughsshootingsports in .187 dia and Jeff will furnish his bore guide with the .187 bushing to match it to the rod. Regards

For a 40X, I don't think you'll beat Lucas. They're excellent.

I've used them all and while many of them are excellent....I prefer MWerks.

If you get a Lucas, be sure to tell him you have a factory stock, he'll make it a little skinnier than he normally does so it don't scratch the wood. I vote for Lucas because it fits real tight in the receiver and you don't have to hold in in with your free hand. Thanks, Douglas
