In varmint for score shooting you shoot 5 targets at 100 200 and 300 yards witch targets do you shoot twice.

The bottom right target is a "sighter" at which you may fire as many shots as you wish. The other five are "record"targets and only one shot is fired at each of these. A registered match consists of five of these targets for record at 100, 200 or 300 yards, called an aggregate or agg for short. If the match contains more than one yardage, the combination is called a Grand Agg. There are only a couple 3 yardage matches contested each year, the most well known is the Bud Pryor.

you shoot 5 targets w/5 recorded shots in each target right,O.K now if I shoot one target w/5 shots recored on it at 100 another at 200 w/5 shots recorded on it and one target at 300 w/5 shots recorded were do I shoot the other (2) targets I cant get a possable 250-25X with only three targets shot.
So do I flip a coin to see what yardage I shoot the next two recorded targets at.

5 shots on 5 targets at 100 yds - possible score is 250-25x (one shot per bull)
5 shots on 5 targets at 200 yds - possible score is 250-25x (one shot per bull)
5 shots on 5 targets at 300 yds - possible score is 250-25x (one shot per bull)

Total possible score after 200 yds, including the 100 yds score, 500-50x and after 300 yds, total possioble is 750-75x.

50-5x is a clean target and 5 of those at a yardage is worth 250-25x.

yardage

I was looking at shooting all three yardages the same day but this will mean shooting two of the yardages more than once.I dont want to shoot one yardage for 5 targets I would like to shoot all three yardages the same day..

I'm looking to get a local shoot going something other than group shooting and I thought this would be the way too go.If I'm going about this the wrong way let me know..The first shoot is the 20th of this month,I'll have around 15 or so shooters there like to get it right the first time..

For IBS rgeistered events, you've received good info (above): for an unregistered [CLUB] event, you may do as you - and your participants - please. Good shootin'! RG

Well, since this would be a club or "fun" match, you can do whatever you like as Randy said. BTW, if your match consists of a 100/200/300 format using official Hunter targets, you won't have to worry about any perfect scores...To keep the X count as high as possible, shoot 100 three times, one target at 200 and then 300 will separate the men from the boys...
