Has anyone tested V V 135 in the 6PPC?
I know it is on the slow side with 65 - 70 grain bullets in the 6PPC
but has anyone actually tested it?

Thanks in advance !

If it was worth testing then you would at least see someone actually using it in a match. Check equipment list posted for match results. I think you will find your answer.

This is the wrong answer and not the one I was looking for. I was expecting it in a way. But this answer represents the one of the biggest problems we have regarding our sport:
"Do like the rest..dont ask... just follow the pack."

Quickload works well for quick what if questions.

A run with the standard inputs says that a compressed load should work.

I have a Savage with a 6BR chamber, 1 in 12 twist barrel. V135 works great with 80 grain bullets. Barrel is 24 inches long. Probably would shoot lighter bullets just fine too. But 135 is too slow with a 6ppc unless you are shooting heavier bullets. We usually shoot the 6ppc with 65-68 grain bullets, in 13.5 or 14 twist barrels. V133 is near perfect in the 6ppc with the 65-68 grain bullets. There are a number of other powders that work also.

Hope this helps......Donald
