The War Department celebrated a birthday today, so new patio furniture she wanted, new patio furniture she got.

Alas, the store we bought it from did not have the umbrella base...

...not to worry.

I'm totally cool with it. She still wants a propper umbrella base.

PS Got the runnout on the umbrella down to about .0005. Thinking about blueprinting it.

Are you going to index it? Have you considered adding a flush system? And, this is driving me nuts, when you rotated the patio to align it, where "did" you set the indicator?

Yup, women are hard to please at times, well most times in fact. If you don't need this chuck I'd think that it would be a nice conversation piece and a whole lot better looking than most of the umbrella bases I've seen as long as it doesn't get all rusty anyways....
