For our first 2019 outdoor shoot we had our two shooters from Grants Pass with nippy/cold overcast weather and unpredictable winds.
some times the flags would all be pointing in different directions with tails hanging or wobbling a little and the pellets would still go elsewhere :-(
after the scoring was done Tony said he was having so much trouble today and he would get frustrated when he got a flyer and the rest of the target would go to pot.
i pulled all his targets and looked and told him the targets told what the problem was, and i told him all of his flyers were on line 4 & 5 which meant he was shooting thru a fern AGAIN.
he said no he plucked like the rest of us did, so we went back out to the range and the fern by his target was plucked like the rest were
but low and behold a fern up 10 ft in front of his bench had 2 leaves up.
