UBR at BGSL

There is a UBR match this Sunday at the Blue Grass Sportsman's League in Wilmore, Ky. This is a good warmup for the UBR nationals in a couple of weeks. Lunch will be served. Start time is 9:00.

As usual, Mike showed us how it's done in Custom class. He tied the world record at 100 yards, missing one X on the last target, and won the agg with a 510. Brud Sheats started with a 65 on the first target at 200 yards, and won the yardage with a 251. Hope Carleton also scored a 510 agg in Modified. Anthony Keifer brought a rail gun and shot a 496 in Unlimited. Conditions were some of the best I've seen at Wilmore. More gusty than usual, but the flags didn't switch as frequently. Mirage started early, but never got terrible. What a nice day to be shooting with friends.

PS. Hope beat his own record of 508 in Modified.

I thought about coming, but 4 matches in 5 weeks is just about all I can manage. Sounds like it was great. Looking forward to the Nationals at Buck Creek.

Good shooting Mike, it appears I missed a good day for shooting. Hope, I wish you would leave the records alone so as I would know what I had to shoot. I guess I will have to wait until next year so as to let you wear that old barrel out this year. lol
