two questions om sbn/salt bath nitride

1)round count before processing ?
i have heard from 0 to 50, and some used bbls have been processed.
any current work ?
i know new processed bbls are sold over the counter.

2) sources for sbn / nitriding(sp) ?

I have done shooting a few rounds prior to treatments and just running a mag wheel polish on a patch in the throat area forward and reverse, I think either one will be enough to break the sharp edges. Be mindful these are service rifle barrels, our precision requirement is not as stringent as the stool shooters'.

I use Houston Unlimited Inc. in Chappell Hill, TX to do the SBN for me. They have processed over 100 ARs, and 14s barrels for me over the last 3 years, so far I have no issue with their work.
