Twist question

I see on here that many like a 1-16" twist and I'm wondering if anyone has used a faster twist ----say 1-14" and how many grooves it had?
What were the results with wind sensitivity, cold, warm, etc....??

The later Rem 40x's had 14 twist- nobody really knew why- they've died a quiet death, more or less.
