Anyone have an extra Turbo Bolt Stop. Will the Bolts Stops from any other action fill the need. No reply from Flash on a letter sent off three months ago.

Butch;
I knew that Flash had left us. Just thought someonr might have one they didn't need. I'll tell my friend to contact Cecil.

Whats wrong with yours? I have problems with mine letting the bolt out. but it can be repaired if the pin isjust worn. Ask Bill Hindegarden to fix it.

I had to have a Turbo bolt stop replaced after about 7 years of use. To make them last longer, bring the bolt back slowly. I rather flick an empty out of the port then have another problem with the bolt stop. The bolt stop is a part that really needed to be hardend.

The problem is the lug that fits into the bolt, sheared off. I've seen this happen other actions as well. True, the pin that hold the bolt stop in, can some times bend or break and cause the bolt stop to either fall out or fail to hold the bolt in. Hopefully someone will take up the manufacting process of the Turbo Actions and replacement parts soon. May Flash RIP.

If any one needs a bolt stop i got extras from Flash a while ago. Give me a call 845-985-0001

Keep in mind that there are two different sizes based on age of the action. Later is heavier and not as apt to break. To place the larger (current) stop in, you need to do a little dremmel work to give clearance if you have an early action......

Thanks Don, it is the early action so when I get one we'll know it's not the wrong part, just need some hand fitting.
