I am shooting a rifle chambered in blahblahblah. My sweet spot using X gr Berger VLDs is between 3450 and 3500fps. If I want to change to Y gr SMKs, will my sweet spot still be 3450 - 3500fps?

I guess what I am asking is that will any weight bullet be at its most accurate at the same muzzle velocity (as long as it is within the bullets performance range) in my rifle?

Rocky,
It's not that simple, same velocity is worth a look, but there are no guaranties that a different bullet will shoot at the same speed. Same thing with powder, 3400 with X powder is not the same as 3400 with Y powder. If you want the best accuracy your rifle can deliver you should re-tune when changing components.

No, bullets of a different weight and ojive can give you severe pressure problems compared to others at the same velocity.
