Can anyone tell me if you can use a tuner in 1000 yd Light or Heavy Gun.

If I recall properly, you can use a muzzle break in LG only. A brake is a barrel attachment, so is a tuner. I see no reason a tuner couldn't be used in LG, but I'm not sure you would be allowed to adjust during the 10 firing period.
I'm sure this will be discussed.

yes you can use a tuner on either gun that i am aware of.
but as wayne said i dont think you can adjust it during score period,but during sighter period you can adjust it, that same "how and when to adjust" issue came up for me after the first relay i was advised by dave tooley at the ibs nats to leave the gun on the bags and stand up to adjust it.on the first relay i slid my gun straight back off the bags and pointed it up to adjust my tuner and the ref behind me almost called a cease fire ,luckly my buddie who was spotting for me told the ref what i was doing so he did not call the halt .so after talking to dave about it i did what he said to do. later i went to the nbrsa nats,when they had the meeting before the match i asked the best way to do it ,they agreed with daves way as well.i dont want to distract the guy next to me and i dont want to break the rules of but this is a new thing for 1000yd stuff and i am sure there will some rules on the agenda soon on this subject as more 1000yd guys using tuners start showing up.there was only 2 tuners at the ibs nats that i saw and only 1[mine]at the nbrsa nats, but i am sure there will be more showing up real soon. tim in tx
