I start with 3 o-rings spreading them apart about 2 inches apart each from the muzzle backwards and looking for immediate group size improvement. Then I'll add the fourth, monitoring improvement all the while. Then I might double up the o-rings and check the effect. You might to record in inches the location of the rings from the muzzle for your records to find the best placement and combination. I think a 25% reduction in group size is easy to achieve and possibly improvements of as much as 33% might be possible. I'm shooting remington 38 grain hollow points that cost $3.17 for fifty at Walmart at 4.25 inch,5 shot groups at 200 yards,my squirrel round and eley black with e.p.s. bullet at 2.74 inch five shot average at 200 yards, with ten groups each. But the main thing is it reduces the amount of time and money you spend buying every ammo and batch # available to get the performance you want. Good luck, ifldned
