Tuner for 100 yards

At our club we shoot benchrest at 100yards for 22rimfires, I am useing a
H&R M12 that shoots pretty good was just wondering if a tuner would help at that range, I use a tuner on my ARA rifle which works good but that is at 50 yards. Any input would be appreciated.

I have a H&R M12, and I recently installed an old Hoene?(spelling) tuner. I have added six ounces of weight, doing a lot of testing. This rifle has improved unbelievably with the tuner. I haven't shot it at 100 yards, but it would have to improve your scores, if it is tuned properly. If it works better at 50, it would work better at 100.
 
hopefully when this discussion with Al and Bill is advancing some light or someone with the math skills can answer, if range and what point does a tuner run out of adjustments speed wise. I would think with the drop a .22 has that at some point the upward launch can't handle angle needed. also it would seem to me that minimal weight and a longer skinier barell may be advantagous.
 
we shoot 100 "meters" as well, i use the same ammo and same tuner setting, without changing a single thing. this past saturday we had some very wierd wind, i shot XYZVVXZY at 50, but did super at 100, go figure, i still need some trigger pull practice.

Just last week, I shot a couple of 100 yrd pattern for grins.
I was surprised that they were not much larger than my poor
50 yrd tuning patterns.
Could some of you post what a good pattern would be for 100 yrds?

Two months ago there was a discussion about tuners at 50 yards and 100 yards Here. It seems the consensus was that a rifle tuned for 50 yards may not be tuned at 100 yards. On that thread I related my experience with a rifle tuned at 50 yards and shot at 65, 75, 100, 150 and 200 meters in competition. I mentioned that I could tell no difference at the shorter ranges, i.e. less then 150 meters. However, I never went back and compared groups with and without tuners at those ranges but I did for the 150 and 200. Needless to say, I no longer use the tuner for the long range stuff, i.e. greater than 65 meters but do use it for the ARA matches.

That's not to say that a rifle can't be tuned for 100 yards or any other range but in my experience one setting doesn't seem to work for all ranges. I believe Varmint Al concurred.
