Tuner bore out or turn down barrel?

Ok I have a tuner that has been bored out to fit my other BR gun. I now have a new gun but the tuner will not fit because the ID is too small. Do I bore out the tuner or can I turn down the barrel so that the tuner will fit the new gun barrel? The barrel is ready for chamber and crown. It is not much that barrel has to be turned down (approx. 0.030). I'm concerned about stress relief. Perhaps I should just purchase another tuner and bore it to fit this gun.

How about some advice.
 
I'd open the tuner but have done it both ways. If you open the tuner, make sure to check the barrel for taper and match it.
 
Logical...or maybe not

I you're gonna have one tuner you would need both barrels to fit the tuner. I do understand your concern over turning the barrel but it's a crap shoot in terms of "will it make a difference". Turning the barrel may very well make it better.
