tune and elevation change

i shoot a benchgun (6ppc with 133) a majority of the time at 3250 ft elevation. if i were to go to a range at 6350 ft (raton), with all other things being the same, (temp, humidity, ect.) how much change in powder charge would be needed to get me back in tune?

i think i read on here somewhere some are going up/down .3 gr with every 1000 ft elevation change to maintain tune. anyone in the texas, new mexico, oklahoma area that has competed at raton care to share their difference in home vs. raton powder charges?

i understand that there is more to it than just elevation and a gun has to be tuned to that particular range on that day. i'm just looking for what some of you have experienced.

thanks!

Aaron,

If you are tuned in Lubbock, it will shoot in Raton. You might have to go up .3 in the morning when it is cool, but go to your regular load when it starts warming up after 1 or 2 targets.

See you at the club shoot next week.
