The following is a reminder that I sent out today to our rimfire shooters at our local club. I also sent it to our 22 silhouette shooters in hopes of getting some new benchrest shooters. We will let you know about the response.

Match starts at 10. We usually get there about 9.
Once again we will shoot both the official 50/50 target and the FUN-fire target for factory rifles.
This is the third time we have shot this new target which has rings approximately twice the size as the regular 50/50 target. Both targets will be shot on the same line at the same time but will be scored as a separate class. As the name implies, it is for fun. The requirements are very simple. The rifle must be a 22 LR with a factory action and barrel and the shooter can use any kind of rest. Beyond that, anything goes.
We are sending this message to both the 50/50 benchrest shooters and the silhouette shooters because it is the good shooting rifles that are used in silhouette shooting that we have designed the FUN-fire matches for.
To new shooters, We suggest a good scope and subsonic ammo. We will shoot three matches of 25 rounds each at 50 yards.
