Club Coordinator
On September 26th and 27th, Tacoma Rifle and Revolver Club held their Final match of the 2020 season, the Northwest Regional match for the Sporter and Light Varmint Class. This contest would determine the winner of the Del Bishop trophy and Shooter of the Year trophy as well. Please see pictures and pdfs attached.
We began with our Sporter contest at 100 yards on Saturday morning. Eldon Yarbrough had some nice conditions to shoot in and won with a .2370" agg. That afternoon at 200, Jeff Lewis won the yardage with a .2795" agg.
Mary Matau won the Sporter grand with a .2790" agg
Sunday brought more great conditions for us.
We shot the Light Varmint class at 200 yards in the morning. Lee Whiteley shot a .2239” agg. to win the yardage.
At 100 yards, Larry Boers battled for the win with a .2504" agg.
Larry Boers held on to win the Light Varmint aggregate with a .2542" aggregate.
Larry Boers came from behind with his performance on Saturday, and won the 2 gun with a .2732" agg, narrowly beating Eldon Yarbrough by 2 thousandths of an inch.

The Del Bishop Trophy is given to the winner with the highest aggregate of the 4 Regional matches held during the season. This year Larry Boers was the winner of the Northwest Regional 4 gun with a .2567" Jeff Lewis in second with a .2676" and Eldon Yarbrough in third with a .2869" aggregate.
Larry Boers was also the 2020 Shooter of the Year with an amazing 21 points.

Geoff, Zach and Craig did an amazing job all year long.
