Hi all,
This year marked the 6th annual Andrews Memorial Tournament. This match is a fu n warm up for the Sniper King in July. We shot Heavy Varmint on Saturday and 5 shot Unlimited matches on Sunday for the Northwest Regional.
On June 5th and 6th, S hooters from around the northwest traveled to Tacoma, Washington, to attend our third NBRSA match of the year. Saturday was cool in the morning with light-breezy to full-windy conditions. We began with our Heavy Varmint match at 100 yards on Saturday morning which was won by Larry Boers with a .1964 agg. That afternoon at 200 Mark Walker won the yardage with a .2301". Mark held on to wi n the HV grand aggregate with an agg of .2457".
Sunday brought some overcast skies early, and it rained before noon. We shot the Unlimited class at 200 yards in the morning. Jeff Crose shot a .1817 agg. to win the yardage. At 100 yards, Mustafa Bilal took the yardage with a fantastic .1410 agg. Larry Boers won the Unlimited grand aggregate with a .1663 agg.
Mark Walker had an outstanding performance overall, and held on to win the 2 gun with a .2153" Grand agg.
Of special note - small groups for the agg :

It was great to see a few long range shooters and Varmint for score shooters come and check out the match.
It looks like Steve Kostanich is leading the SOTY with 8 points.

Next month is Sniper King
We will draw for benches Thursday evening at 6pm, and begin our first match at 100 yards Friday at 9am.

Fri July 2nd UNL 100/200 10 shot
Sat July 3rd UNL 200/200 10 shot
Sun July 4th UNL 200/100 5 shot
We will have our family BBQ Saturday night following the match. We will need volunteers to bring paper plates, cutlery, ice, appetizers, desserts, etc.. Look for the Evite to come in your email.
