Trigger

I need some help. I shot at three and a half matches the first part of this year, those being Dublin, GA, Unaka's first match and the 200 yard match in July, also at WWWCA in June. At one of those shoots I loaned someone a Jewel trigger and I can't remember who it was. It came off my teddy in an old speedy stock and the trigger was very long, so it had to be used without a trigger guard on the gun that it was loaned to. I just happened to have a need for it today and realized what had happened. I'm sure that with packing up and all there was an oversight and the person who borrowed it doesn't know me personally or how to reach me. I'd like to get it back.

Thanks,
Dan Honert:eek:

I wasn't at the match...

...( was in South Africa that week). But, I do have the match report and there were 37 shooters there. I can pretty much cross off the guys who are regulars and who I know their equipment (and who doens't have the trigger).

Send me an e-mail to Krooppc@aol.com and I will give you the names of who was there.

I'm traveling the next few days so I may not get right back to you.

Regards, old neighbor.

Joe

Hey Dan, I was at Dublin and Unaka but I don't have your triggen trigger. I'll gladly rent you one though for $50/month. I'll bring it to the Oak Ridge 600 yard match next Saturday, OK?

Joe, cross me off!

Now aren't we a lot of help!

Thanks Joe, will do.

Jerry your no damn help at all, and in six months it would be mine paid in full?:D
Besides I won't be at Oak Ridge, I'm not sure I'll be doing anything, just got back from the dentist, oral surgery two hours worth and the left side of my face is like a balloon. The procedure is called a crown lengthening, I'm not a happy camper right now, good luck Saturday.

Dan

Gee, thanks for the happy thoughts Francis, I love you to. Although I just took a happy pill seems to be working so your safe.;) The pills must be good they only let me have twelve per script.

The shoot is Saturday week, Oct 24. As to the trigger rental, the rent goes on and on. I'll lease you one though for $125/year on a 3 year lease.

Old Mister Rotgut 110 proof will help that jaw swelling!!!

Damn your just full of good deals how can a body pass on that?

In a week I hope to be well mended, maybe I'll shoot at Oak Ridge, I need to get some stuff from Jeff anyhow.

Dan, me and Francis (or Francis and I if you prefer) were just wondering if you were still alive. Get a big cud of chawing tobaccy, that'll help it some.
How many of those happy pills you got left? Remember, about 3 of them will buy a pound of powder if you sell them in the right crowd.

Jerry, you guy's need to stay away from each other, neither one of you needs the other to get into trouble, put you two together and you might end up in jail or worse.

It's a damn shame that out of 37 shooters the one guy who knows he has Dan's trigger hasn't owned up to his mistake and just returned it or contacted Dan...

Maybe this is one of the reasons shooter attendance has fallen off. I remember telling guys how honest and helpful benchrest shooters were to one another.

Good Luck Dan

Paul

Thanks Paul.

Paul, you your dad and Eric should head on down to Jackie's Buck Creek range in the spring for that money shoot should be fun.
