I love my Canjar trigger but that piece of wire they have replaced the actual trigger with doesn`t look/feel nice.
Anyone know of someone who makes a triggershoe for them?

What Canjar are you speaking of...........???

Are you asking about the Light Pull (LP)?? The only reason that had a piece of aluminum stock as the trigger piece, is because if a Canjar shoe was put on there it would have been so heavy that the trigger could not have been adjusted to such a light pull weight safely. Those "aluminum wire" triggers have been safely set at some pull weights that could only be measured in ounces(I don't have those type scales) yet the rifle pounded on the recoil pad on a floor, and still hold the set, then be lifted up and the trigger pulled at still the same feel as when set by closing the bolt. Canjar only used steel on their triggers, that one was the only one that used a piece of aluminum on it, and I doubt if the standard Canjar trigger shoe could be retrofitted. That trigger (only for Rems.), was designed for silhouette shooting and varmint shooting from a hide. Guess you'll have to be satisfied with a Jewell, huh? ;):D As for feel "nice", I was able to train myself to shoot that trigger in the winter with insulated ski gloves on.:D Its possible. ;)

Rolf, It seems like we have been down this road a few months ago. You have a Canjar Light Pull trigger and the alum wire is what you get. You might look for a standard Canjar or go to Jewell.

Yes it`s the LP model.

This is what happens when you participate at several different forums. Sorry for bringing it up again.

Ro;f,
I wanted a straight trigger on my LP and made one using a common nail. I try it before cutting the head off and liked it the head on. "Nail Them"
