I have a Westernfield 750A that the trigger guard got broken on . it is still in one piece except about a 1/16" gap in the bottom of the guard .
I could send it to someone to make a copy of if someone is willing to make me one . it is made of some sort of plastic , would like to have it made of metal , aluminum or stamped metal , as long as it looks good .
thanks , Kenneth

That would be one spendy trigger guard !

Try these guys, they'll have an original

Ok , thanks for the response . How much would something like that cost ?
I looked at thier web site a couple times over the last couple years and haven't found the 750 model on there . Thanks , Kenneth

Yeahhh, you need to call them.

"Westernfield" is not a rifle manufacturer, the various store brands back in the day (Montgomery Ward/Western Field, Coast To Coast, Gamble, etc) used different mfgrs (Savage/Stevens, Mossberg, Marlin, Harrington & Richardson etc) and changed the terminology, changed the models and names, the tech guys should have the cross reference data. I could probably even figure it out but it might take days.

Is this by any chance a Mauser 98 actioned rifle? Like a 30-06 conversion? If so, finding a non-original guard should be relatively easy......

Yes sir it is a 98 action but just a simple trigger guard , no floor plate . Sort of like an ADL trigger guard . I looked in thier cross reference and found no mention of the 750A . But I will give them a call as you suggested , thank you , Kenneth
