Torque on Burris Signature Rings?

Burris sez the Signature rings need only 40% of the torque used on regular rings, or is it 40% LESS torque?

The first set I put on a Suhl made me question that. After about 30 rounds, I got a shift to the right of about one inch, at 25 yards. Then I tightened the rings a little more.

The third set went on a very accurate Suhl and I am getting a shot once in a while that is out of the group, high.

I may not have enough torque on the rings. How much is "just right". . . . (?)

Mr. Frosty..

Use a fairly long allen wrench and keep one foot on the ground..:D  :D

No seriously.. I use a standard allen wrench on my scope mounts and I put the long end in the screw and tighten the screws as tight as I can get them using the small end to tighten.. My rifles shoot great and I have not had a scope come loose..
There will be other replies, but this is how I do it..

That's how I do it too.Simple and no risk of over tightning.
