The WBC in South Africa was Tony Boyer's 9th out of ten held so far. He won WBC1 and WBC3, finished second in WBC4 and WBC10. He has finished in the Top 5 seven times and was still Top 10 in the other two not to mention what he has achieved with his team mates.
Apart from Phoenix in 1997, this was done outside of the USA, with no prior range knowledge.
That really is impressive and on top of his vast achievements within the USA.
No doubt, he is the best benchrest competitor the world has seen.
My thanks to Mike Ratigan's wonderful book for most of this information.
