Folks,
The Tom Miller Memorial is just 3 weeks away. This will be the 4th Annual TMM, but the first time we've held it as an IR50/50 Championship match. We will be shooting the NY State IR50/50 Unlimited Yards Championship beginning promptly at 9am. The Northeast Regional Yards Championship will begin after Lunch and awarding of the State Championship Trophies.

The TMM has drawn a good crowd as an ARA match the last 3 yrs, and we're hoping to do as well or better this year. Please let me know by e-mail, TKBanks98@aol.com; phone-518-796-0768; or by private message here if you plan to attend. I need to get a fairly accurate headcount asap to plan lunch. As of right now, the 4-H will not be serving lunch this year, and I need to come up with a "Plan B"! I promise we'll have something, if I have to cook it myself!

Hi Todd,

Penny and I are looking forward to our annual visit to New York and a visit with all our friends at the Tom Miller.

“…if I have to cook it myself.” Wow, now there is a scary thought!

I'll be there Todd. Looking forward to seeing everyone.

If you need any assistance with the food, let me know. I can't cook, but I do a heck of a job going to the store and buying stuff.

Todd,
As I summer at my camp in Maine and John is running a shoot 10 miles from my camp that day. I will not miss the 800 mile drive that day but will miss shooting with everyone. I have enjoyed talking to the Miller family in the last two years and will give you a donation this weekend at PM to help with the TOM MILLER MEMORIAL. I hope you fill two relays. The four new benches and target holders look great!

Todd,

I knew Tom well and always enjoyed shooting with him both summer and winter, as he never missed a match, plus talking with he and Joan at the matches as well as on the phone. But, I regretfully will have to pass on this years event as my knees would never allow me to make the trip out, then shoot, to say nothing of getting back home. Hopefully by next year I will have that problem solved and will be able to make it out for that one.

Dave

Dave,
You will be missed at this match. Hopefully next year your knees will be like new, the price of gas will drop below $2.50 and Eley will cost $8.00 a box.
Well maybe one out of three! :)

See you tomorrow.

Best,
Michael

Paul and Dave,
I completely understand your situations. I wouldn't travel this far for a match if I were in either of your shoes, myself. We'll miss you both. I thought I had found a date that wasn't a conflict with any other ranges. I'm sorry I missed Capitol City. I'll try to do better next year!
Todd

Still plenty of benches left. It's looking like we'll be able to get everything done in one relay for each match. The weather is looking decent, partly sunny, highs in the mid 70's and a 30% chance of morning showers...a big improvement over the weather we've been having lately!
Todd

Yes, looking forward to seeing you Peter, and all (most all anyway) of the Yorker crowd.

As we speak we are in town now, going to the range for a look-see. See you in the AM.
