Todd,
So sorry to hear of this news. I loved that dog the first time I met him. Very sorry to hear of this.

Thanks guys. It's been a rough 24+hrs for Kathy and I. We had no idea Bear was sick until a few hours before it was time to make the decision. His hips had been bothering him for a while but the new supplements he was on seemed to be working and we thought he'd be with us for a while longer.
For those that didn't know Bear, from 2003-2010 I shot somewhere between 200-300 matches, and Bear was with me for most of them, from Florida to Maine. We wore out 3 trucks together. He was always WAY more ready to hit the road at 4-5am than I was, and I have to say I probably wouldn't have traveled so much without his company. I'm pretty sure most people liked him more than me...

Todd: So sorry to hear of your loss. I know how it feel's. I Love & get along better with dog's more than most folks. In the words of Roy Rogers " If there no dog's in heaven, then when I die, I want to go where they did." RIP Bear. Ed.

My condolances to you and Kathy. I know how much that dog meant to you.

Todd and Kathy,
So sorry to hear about Bear. What a wonderful dog! ... I certainly remember my first match at Salem. I pulled into the range and I saw this small horse running at my car -- then it dawned on me that it was a large dog. He seemed so happy to see me and I hadn't even met him yet. Wonderful dog!

Todd, i am very sorry to hear about Bear. It's hard to lose a shooting bud like him.

Todd.
Sorry to hear about Bear he was a wonderful dog and we as well as you will miss him very much. I looked forward to seeing him when we had the opportunity to shoot together. We lost our Grayhound about six months ago to cancer and I know how hard it is to loss such a devoted friend. God gives us animals I think to show us what true love and devotion should look like...I'll keep you and Kathy in our prayers...no one understands the pain until they've been there.

Todd, Kathy,
Sorry to hear the sad news about Bear, he will be sorely missed at the "Crawfish", we all looked forward to seeing his friendly face and loving personality. He has now crossed the "Rainbow Bridge" and will patiently await the arrival of all of his friends, as always. Thumper
