Tim McWhorter and custom AA100 guns

I was searching for information and threads about the AA100's and there is mention of a Tim McWhorter (sp?) that set up some of these for BR. Any idea what was done to these? Did they shoot a HV or LV speeds? Any idea if they were regulated? I have emailed him at his current website (looks like he builds custom firearms) but wanted to ask here too.

Tim Worked and learned the trade @William`s Precission in Grayson Ga,owned by Jim Williams who has adds in the classifieds here on BRC ,Tim now resides in Doerun ,Georgia. Jim`s #770-757-1590,he may have what you are talking about,I seen a couple of Feinwerkbeau`s the last Time I was @ Jims . Tim won a National CHampionship shooting BR 50 in the90`s
 
Doc, they where regulated, but not good most took them out.they shoot 1000 fps with 10.5 gr. what ever that works out .nick jinkins in England picked out the best barrels and so on.and sent them to Tim who did the fine tuneing and so on. he did win the Nationals in 93 in Texas. great for benchresting..hope this helps you out buddy.H.B.

Thanks for the background info. Mine has a Korick regulator that works very well. But some day I might want to power up the rifle - I'd likely send it back to him for another reg or at least an adjustment.

I have the NJR100 set up for me by Nick in the early 90's. The original regulater has been replaced with a Korick and shoots at around 905 with CP 10.5 lubed. The select barrel has produced fantastic result and the rifle Won the BR-50 Nationals in 95. I believe that Charline Pray has Tim's rifle. Mine. Tims and two others cleaned the 50 bull target.

I will never sell it!

Bob, any idea what your reg output is set at? How many shots at that power level?
 
Not sure of the reg setting. I only get about 35 shots per fill.
