Tikka Threads

Hey Guys, can anyone help with what the barrel tenon threads are for a Tikka action? I have a good friend who does some gunsmithing work locally, and he has been asked to rebarrel a Tikka rifle. He wants to avoid that job if there is any chance that they are metric threads. Thanks...

pretty sure they are metric,we had this discussion at the bud,general opinion is that they were metric threads

Both my TRG's are metric so I would bet your Tikka is too. Dave Tooley and probably several other smiths on here can handle metric threads.
