It was a very, very windy day at Thurmont for a 100 yard score match yesterday. Dave Short was beating Rod Morton by tie breaker at the end of the 3rd match with both having 13 of 15 possible X's however the tide turned in the 4th match with Rod shooting a 5 and Dave shooting a 4. In the final trip to the line Rod closed the door hard with another 5x target for a total of 23 x in some of the toughest conditions I can ever remember . Dave edged out third place Fred Ridgway both having 21x. There were 27 competitors in VFS.
In Hunter Class Vince Pastorella edged out Ed Sybert with a 249-09x
Sara Harren's 247-6x won Varmint Hunter class and David Greenlaw the only Factory shooter put down a very respectable 213-1x with his 22-250
