Throat or leade. Which is it?

I thought, lead and freebore was one and the same.
The portion of the reamer between the neck transition and the throat would be the lead or freebore.
The throat being one to two degrees angle.
What has brought me to this thinking.
I have prints from PTG where I have ordered 0 freebore. On the print it shows 0 lead.
Also,I have throating reamers but not leade reamers.

I notice lead or leade and throat being used as if they were the same.

Is this kind of like, I have a friend who has IDEALS of how to do something?
I don't explain, the word is IDEAS as I know what he means and just accept it. TIA Kenny

I guess everyone has their connotation. I like to think the throat is the area beyond where the neck diameter stops and rifling has been altered. Some throats are very short, some cut long. I think of the leade as the angle portion the rifling is cut with the throating reamer... that is the first part of the reamer that would cut the rifling. The amount of free bore would be the amount of bore ahead of the neck that has no rifling... those are my thoughts...

if you go to the saami site, they have a list of definitions.
since they are the industry standard for the usofa...i try to use thier definitions.....
(read headspace while you are there...it aint head clearance...how we size brass)

THROAT
See Leade (Lead).
LEADE (LEAD)
That section of the bore of a rifled gun barrel located immediately ahead of the chamber in which the rifling is conically removed to provide clearance for the seated bullet. Also called Throat or Ball Seat.
