Considering the high rate of barrel/ throat burn with cartridges like 6.5x284, any opinions on the many throat saving solutions in the market? e.g Tubbs , as marketed by midway?

Don't shoot it, that is the only way to save any bore. All the miracles in a bottle really only saves the guys that sell the craps, bank account.
