Butch,
See attached. I have sent it to the Prime Ministers Office. I also sent it and another letter to the Federal Attorney general who is a Senator for QLD (our State). See attached.

yep,...we are angry.

Stuart

I don't normally post political statements of my own....but I am doing so now because

I am angry.

Tony Abbott it’s time to step up. Please show some proper leadership and announce

nothing less than a wide ranging Royal Commission into the situation we (and the

whole world) have witnessed occur in Martin Place in Sydney and the events over

many years which lead up to this. You are our Prime Minister. It is your decision.

Saying that several issues need "looking into" is not enough to satisfy Australians.

We are told that terrorism is here and we had better get used to it. We are told that

"Lone Wolf" attacks are indefensible. It seems we are told a lot of things by

politicians but Australian have a good nose to know when they are being bullted

to. Buck passing is an Australian sport. But this is serious. To say this person Man

Haron Monis "fell through the cracks" in the system is such an understatement of

facts it is disgusting. Somewhere, somehow there is institutional incompetence at

every single level within our system. The system is rotten or incompetent and we

need to find where and why. The reasons and the answers need to be known by all

Australians openly. ONLY a wide ranging Royal Commission of Inquiry will achieve

that beyond political and institutional interference. We the people need our own court

of inquiry here.

The problem we all have here is that if one person like this Man Haron Monis can fall

through so many cracks in the system then there must be hundreds, possibly

thousands more like him. It is now not conceivable to think there are not many

others. This will be a serious concern to every Australian. There is not just one

problem here. At all levels from Immigration to the judicial and legal system to

policing of firearms licensing to falling off the terrorism 'watch list". As every hour

goes on we hear of more and more. The media can find out all this within one day

yet the institutions of the Australian Government cannot find or act? The Iranian

Government requested extradition in 2000 to face serious charges back in his

original country. But was rejected because Australia does not have an Extradition

agreement in place with Iran!

I see you on National Television tonight speaking about your concern. Thankyou.

Now it's time for action, not words. We have also seen tonight on National Television

there were many people within the Muslim community in Australia that raised the

alarm about this person. Yet nothing was done. If people are saying the Muslim

community needs to do more to help root out these people well here is an example

that was ignored. There is obviously a whole range of problems at every single level.

Under the Australian Constitution there are three (3) arms of government. The

Legislature, the Executive and the Judiciary. Do we have problems in all three? Is

this contributing to the problem? Only a Royal Commission is the least that ordinary

Australians should expect here. So Tony, what we need now is real leadership. I

hope you are listening.

Ray,
The bad thing is nobody cares. Wonder why we are as we are now.
People care,I care. It's just so big ( all the messes) and what we can share can only go so far , we have to take care of our own as well. Taking on the world , that's a big job.

Wonder what woulda happened if one of those aussies had a 1911 in his waistband? That may be the biggest issue there. I dont think the lone wolf woulda went in if he might have thought somebody was bringin the heat. Easy targets just like nyc, chicago and dc.

I think a victim or family of a victim should bring a suit against the government for creating mass victims and making them easier targets contrary to the 2nd amendment.

I don't think we need to take care of the World. We just need to make an effort to clean up our messes here.

My statement was steered to the US, I don't know Australia politics but wish Mr. Sterwart all the luck in the world..
