Thoughts on reducing bushings, 30mm to 1"

What are your thoughts on this?

Do you guys have confidence or not?

The reason I ask is currently I have 2 Leupold 45X scopes. One is a frozen Bukys with his mount the other is a standard unmodified. I am not worried about the frozen but the unmodified. I am not worried about it at this time.

I have a modified 36X Sightron that I carry as a backup but as you know it is 1". I have bushings that can reduce my 30mm 1 piece Bat rings to 1".

Would you guys have confidence in doing that if the situation presented itself??????

If there are plans to say get a March, I will take my frozen Bukys over a March anyday. It may not be as clear but I know the B**** is locked.

Thanks in advance,

Calvin

used them for 6 years, just make sure the rings are tightened properly and no problems

from the Twin Cities area has been making a 30mm/1" ring set for a lot of years. I have 1 set of them on a HBR rifle, just because I needed tall rings QUICK and he had them there that day. Work quite well and never moved w/ a T-6 in them

I have a set from Brownells that I used on my 6.5-284. Been that way for several years , no problems.
