The Weatherman lied . . .

We were suppose to have Thunderstorms today. It didn't happen. Temperature in the 40s and a tricky wind, but no rain. We were expecting 7 shooters from the Lower Peninsula and 2 form the western U.P. Only good old reliable Chuck Langenderfer from the Lower Peninsula showed up. That lying weatherman scared the rest of them off. Anyway we had 19 shooters: 18 locals. Not too bad for a cool Upper Peninsula day. There was a LAKE out in front of targets 11 to 16, so we only put up 10 targets. A lot of shooters ignored the 50 yard match. It was pretty cold and we had a lot of water on the right end of the range. Only our Unlimited Match was popular today, but we are trying to encourage more shooter to turnout for the other classes. They will be out when the weather gets warmer UP here.

We use the USBR target, but changed some of the rifle class rules, so we are not able to sanctionn our matches. "We are Outlaws". A complete list of the equipment used by each shooter is posted over on RFC.
