The Rock roared today

The forecast for today was 25-30 mph winds and they certainly were delivered. It was brutal conditions for most of the match with the probes looking like windshield wipers running on high and all on a different cycle. We had a light turnout with 13 shooters, 8 VFS, 3 modified and 2 factory guns. Ronnie Davis won Vfs with an excellent for conditions, 246-8x score,Dale Avery was 2nd w 244-3x and new shooter Gary Walken was 3rd w 239-1x. David Creath (another new shooter) won factory w 229-1x with Phillip Curtis 2nd w 227-2x. In modified James Davis shot an excellent 241-2x score with Doug Knowles 2nd w 226-0x score. I think that the conditions today were the toughest I've ever shot in on the left side of the range, the right side was better for the most part, All the top scores came from the right end of the range but it certainly wasn't easy anywhere. Congrats to all that shot well and thanks to all who helped make the match a success.
