The No Spin Zone

"It'll never work!"
Made some bullets this week with a new lot of secret squirrel jackets and was going to give 'em the 17 Twist Spin Test this weekend, but the weather has conspired against it.

Will hunker down and make cores until late this morning, then light up the snow blower and clear the driveway before heading to The Big Magoo's basketball game early this afternoon. This Fall, I rebuilt the carb on the 'blower, redid the exhaust a bit and Kroil-ed up the cables, so as to ward off any Winter breakdown woes. Some VP C-14 race fuel in the tank is good for another 2 yards of toss with light snow and a full yard of extra distance with the heavy, wet stuff. ;) I suppose I'll need gloves on to move the snow.......

A weekend making cores is probably the penance I'm paying for something, though I'm thinkin' the punishment far outweighs any crime. -Al

P.S. I think I've adhered to all of Francis' directives for posting under the 'general' forum: started off talking about shooting, touched on the weather, sports, referenced motorsports, avoided politics, hinted at religion and finally ended up back at shootin'. Nothing about Generals. Though General George Armstrong Custer got himself and a few pals all shot to pieces here after slightly miscalculating the resolve of the original Dept. of Homeland Security.....;)
