The Big Money Team USA Group

I'm going. And I'll be collecting, and generally bothering folks. I'm not proud.

Most of y'all know how this works.

At the Supershoot, the Third Record Target in the Heavy 100 yardage is going to be worth 50% of the pot. The USA World Benchrest Cup gets the other 50%, which is used to help defray expenses around the World Benchrest Cup match attendance.

Entry fee is $10. You have to be a participant to win.

There have been cases where the winner was not participating in the pot, and they've watched someone else walk away with the money.

Which has been, in the past, over a thousand dollars.

Past winners should now chime in, and post about how much they enjoyed shooting that little group.

Ron can post twice.

I'll be presumptuous enough to post for Ed.

"Everyone occasionally shoots little tiny groups, and they do it even more shooting Ed Watson's Trophy Match Bullets. Thanks for helping the team."

Bogie's 50-50 drawing...

is, to me, one of the best deals in bench. It leaves one person very happy and helps our world team a lot.

The other best investment in BR is the cash option at the Super Shoot. I'm actually a little ahead on that over the years and everybody knows how I shoot. There are people who, I suspicion, make a business out of winning these two contests. The names Faye Boyer and Ron Hoehn come to mind.

Pardon me,

What is "cash option"...?
I read it for several times before this, but do not understand what is it...

Also what is "50-50 drawing"...?

TIA,
seb.

Seb,

Bogie's 50-50 draw is simple. It costs $10.00 to enter. Available when you register at Kelbly's. Don't worry about finding Bogie... he'll find you. Whoever shoots the smallest group in the HV 100 yd. match gets half the money. The other half goes to the US team for the world match. It's good for the team and good for the one lucky shooter.

Kelbly's cash option is also easy. When you register you give Jim an extra $50.00. (It's been fifty bucks as long as I remember.) You are then in the cash option. Then Kelbly's pay cash prizes for each match, the amount depending on how many people entered. They pay the first five places for each match or target shot. I've won over two hundred dollars for one good target that got me second place in that match. Shoot one good target and you get to hear... "SEB, COME AND GETCHER MONEY".

Did you get an email from Mike Stumpfig? He sent you pictures of the gun, etc.

See you there.

Mr. Wright,

Thanks you for explaining.....both of the Bogie 50-50 draw & cash option sound simple & interesting.

I still didn't receive email from Mike Stumpfig. However I received many (returned) emails say that my inbox cannot accept files more than 3.8K.....maybe you can try sebastianlambang at yahoo dot com?

You gotta quit calling me Mr. Wright. It's gives me gas.

Why don't you email Mike at mikar91176@hotmail.com? He's anxious to communicate with you.

You will have a lot of help with your rifle when you get to Kelbly's, probably too much.

Dick

Ok...then what should I call you?

I just received email & photos from Mr. Stumpfig via yahoo a moment ago, and have replied it.

We will/can try the setup on May 18 or 19 or 20....time allows.

Seb,

Most people call me Dick... at least to my face.

I'll be there on the 19th. I'm not sure if Mike is coming. If not I will have the gun.

See you then,

Dick

Okay - I'll bring a confuser, and we'll get a tough-man going too, provided the team gets a cut.

If someone will double-check me, AND ENOUGH PEOPLE SIGN UP FOR IT, may end up doing it for all four days...

Rules, unless someone who knows more about it than I do wants to chime in (PLEASE CHIME IN NOW!!!).

Only Record matches count.

First target eliminates 10% of overall pool number.

Each additional target eliminates 5% of overall pool number.

Last target - small group out of the shooters left standing wins the pot.

Did I screw up the math?
