The best place to get BR plaques

I am having a "trial run" this fall after the nationals and Rex Reneau is going to help me out with the wood.
If things go well I will be holding NBRSA matches next year and was wanting to know where to get the trophys.

I don't live anywhere where I can just walk into a trophy shop and order. I can't hardly wait to get "Charlene's Meadow" up and running. It's a small range but it will be a class act.

There seems to be a wide range of prices for trophy plaques. When I started getting them made I used someone local, later finding that I could get much better pricing in a small town in KY. If you would like to call me I'll give you info and you can contact them to see if it works for you. They currently do trophies for several UBR ranges including the UBR Nationals.

Richard, I have several boxes of old benchrest plaques that I have collected over the years. Since my spouse has rejected my idea of covering the wall in our living room with them (to show that she has a "trophy husband") I must do something else with them. She has also voiced increasingly sordid ideas as to where I could store them. I would like to donate them to you. A little duct tape and a sharpie would transform them into new trophies. Expect a UPS truck soon. Tim

Dr. Tim, I'm sorry about your wife's feelings. My wife loves to brag about her trophy husband. even though I'm not a first place trophy, I'm still a trophy. Tell your wife to lower the bar!

Plaques are all computer generated now a days, so your cost are going to be impacted by either competition between trophy stores or shipping. I would generate a template plaque (based on dimensions) and get some quotes. You may want to check other close by shooting ranges to see who they may use. As the Eastern Region Treasurer, I’ve seen prices that can vary by a factor of 2x.
