Thanks to the manufacturers

I have had a good year shooting short range IBS Varmint for Score and a great year shooting Groundhog matches in Maryland and Pennsylvania. In a world where the quality of manufactured products seem to be going down hill, we are blessed with a selection of products to build rifles and ammo that is the best since I started shooting. In 100 yard IBS Varmint for Score matches you just about have to shoot 25X to win or tie for first. Records are falling in all the shooting sports. I believe this is due to the improvement in equipment more then the improvement in shooters. I would like to thank all the manufacturers that have helped me this year (in no particular order).

BAT Actions for making me my Chrome Malloy actions.

McMillan Stocks who have been making great stocks since I started shooting

DEON Optical Design Corporation for making the March scope We finally have a great internal adjustable scope that holds point of aim! Also to Kelbly’s for making them available

Krieger Barrels who continue to supply me with winning barrels

Lapua for the brass that most everyone shoots

Berger Bullets I like all their bullets but especially those 6MM 95gr VLD’s for the groundhog shoots

Randy Robinett for making all the different BIB bullets I use and for changing IBS score shooting forever by being the first person I know of that made great light weight 30 Cal bullets. They also do pretty well at group shooting

Hugh Henriksen who spoils us with the best reamers

Hodgdon Power who has continued to produce new powers and has worked hard to make them temperature incentive

Newlon Precision who takes the work out of making custom dies

Jewell Triggers I have many of these

Burris for Signature Zee Rings which allows me to switch scopes around without marking them up

Now it is time to put away the bench guns, get out the hunting rifles and head to Colorado.

Thanks again,
Rod Morton

I wholeheartedly agree on the BIB's bullets, Lapua brass(the way all brass ought to be made!), Jewell triggers and McMillan stocks.

Unfortunately I've yet to collect enough returnable cans and bottles to afford a March scope but I will take your wise word for it. Have a nice Fall in the Rockies. --Greg

Hey Rod

Don't forget the Pa. state shoot at the IWLA in York the 25th of this month. And yes I agree on the Bib bullets , Lapua brass , Hogdon powder , Krieger Barrels , and Jewell triggers. Maybe this month I can come close to beating you .:D Good hunting John
