Again this year, Douglas Barrels has donated $500 toward the IBS Long Range Marksman Awards. Costs for jackets, plaques and other recognitions are the single large expense line the IBS incurs. Douglas' donation is a significant contribution and greatly appreciated! Once again, the benchrest vendor community is contributing back to the shooters that support them.

Tim Gardner & Douglas Barrels have done a lot to help 1,000 yard benchrest. The range where we're having the Nationals this year has also benefited from Tm's generosity. As he is a modest man, there are probably other things he's helped with I don't know about.

Some of the people who work at Douglas Barrels have also helped the IBS 1,000 yard program. Stan Taylor comes to mind, & there are probably others.
 
By the way, Mr. Stover, I don't believe the Long-Range Marksmen get the nice plaque like the point-blank Precision Riflemen. Or is that just for silver level & beyond... I see Ricky Read got one...?

From the list, there are currently 29 shooters at silver, gold, or platinum. You'd have to add 39 more to cover the bronze -- Total of 68 people, so far.
